Lucky In Love Blog Hop

Welcome to my twisted version of Lucky in Love for the famous blog hop of the same name. Since I’m promoting my newest book, Mortal Bite, I’m talking about 300 year old Golden Vamps getting lucky. So here is  the list of the top 10 worst things he could say.

Between today and the 18th at midnight, you must leave me a comment with your email address, telling me which one is your favorite (or give me one of your own). I will pick 10 winners to get a free book of your choice: Book 1, Honeymoon Bite or Book 2 Mortal Bite. One lucky winner will win a poster signed by Jimmy Thomas himself! Although the grand swag prize is not international, I will send the poster ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD!! Yes, I love my international fans! I sent a poster to Latvia last blog hop.

Here’s my top 10 list of what a Golden Vamp should never say if he wants to get lucky:

10.   You’re a real dine and ditch, sweetheart.

9.     You taste a little “gamey”– are you vegetarian?
8.     I don’t eat red meat.
7.     You taste older than you look.
6.     Maybe you should cut back on the garlic fries.
5.     For being 400 years old, you’re rather yummy.
4.     Where’s the beef?
3.     Are you free range?
2.     Stop shaking or I’ll make a mess.

And the #1 thing he DEFINITELY should never say:

1.     I’ll take mine neat and frightened, but not scrambled.

Don’t forget to leave your email address if you want to be entered in the drawing.

  1. really enjoyed the post. i have definitely got to go with your number 1. i thought that reminded my of Bond, a clever quip although 10 was good too. I got both books and the are a absolutely must, as they are joy to read

    1. Julie, thrilled you got my humor. But of course, dahhhling, you did! Yes, Marcus/Paolo a la Monteleone-Bond, a distant cousin. 'Cause we know Marcus and Paolo wouldn't say anything, they'd just kiss us, right?

  2. thank you a lot for thinking about us international 😉
    i love n°1 and 7

    happy St Patrick's day

      Thanks for stopping by.

laughing so hard at your 10 things NOT to say, but I like #9 best!

  4. I don't know that luck has any bearing on having a successful relationship. It's a whole lot of work. I married my high school sweetheart right out of high school. We have been married for 17 years.

  7. LMAO You had me in stitches with this post! Hilarious stuff! Now have to read some of your work – love me some vampires. Even better if you can make me laugh.
My fav line? The free range one. Omg you're so bad! hehe

    1. JoAnne, I am bad. Seriously twisted. I mean, Carrie Ann says "Lucky In Love" and I'm thinking "Getting Lucky." Early on in my career I had the advice to remove the humor from my WIP at the time, from a well respected source, too.

I couldn't do it. And it has become my signature ever since. I love humor. I like hot, sexy males and females, with lots of funny stuff in between. Situations that make the characters have to do things outside their comfort zone. It's what I do. Thanks for stopping by. Hope you enjoy the books.

  8. I like 1, 2, and 3… 2 probably being my favorite lol 🙂 I also love humor in my paranormal books whether its romance or erotic..some humor never hurt anyone 😉

Hope you had a great St. Patricks Day! Thanks for participating in the hop! swtlilangel4jc at yahoo dot com

  9. What a great giveaway hop! I have yet to be lucky in love but I'm working on it. My favorite love book is "Outlander" by Diana Gabaldon. Jamie Fraser is amazing and beautiful. I enjoy St. Patty's Day and this year I'm spending it with my best friend. We're going to two Irish Pubs and also some dance clubs. I am also wearing green and am not a fan of getting pinched. I'm not Irish either, but many people think I am because my hair is red, my eyes green and my name is Meghan, but I'm not at all. I won't be telling anybody that, however… let them believe I'm Irish.
    Thanks for the giveaway!
