Blood Never Lies.

These alluring tales of the Golden Vampires of Tuscany weave a tapestry of centuries-old values and history of these immortal beings, from their early human lives to their fated mating, which is the only way they can produce children. Often these beings have to wait 400 years to find their fated mates. Two breeds of vampire exist in Sharon’s world, the Goldens and the Darks, each with a different set of rules, and often at war with one another over the centuries, along with the humans who try to exploit and control them for their power. These sensitive beings will sacrifice themselves for their mortal children and for the people they love, as they protect the human race from power-hungry evildoers. They represent a force for good, even though not ever acknowledged by the humans they live amongst.
